Fishing Holidays in Mediterranean

fishing_mediterraneanFor those who would like to have a very unique experience at the Mediterranean there are companies who offer Fishing Holidays.

You can go on a boat around the bays in the region for fishing, diving, relaxing and certainly sightseeing

Some of these boats have Sonar “fish finder” and you are given the guarantee “No Fish No Pay”. On these boats you are served by friendly and experienced crew.

You will probably enjoy this local authentic experience on a comfortable small boat! You can have a relaxed, peaceful time of sightseeing and swimming.

As you cruise the bays you can receive interesting information on the surroundings and pause in the most beautiful deserted coves for a leisurely swim. You can also take a stroll in the lovely villages in the region.

An alternative for such a holiday would be Mediterranean Fishing Holidays in Marmaris, Turkey. The company is run by husband and wife and the name of the boat is NEMO  BOAT. The web address is  http://mediterraneanfishingholidays.com/findingnemoboat/

Based on some referrals left on their site, the meals cooked by captain Nemo are referred to as delicious and Linda the wife is referred to as “fabulous and friendly”.

“Husband and friends all done the boat trip and had a great time, the crew were very pleasant and had a lovely dog mocha,THE FINDING NEMO BOAT TRIP IS A MUST IF YOU LIKE FISHING……..”“We had been a little worried by the weather forecasts of the previous couple of days, which had shown that rain was expected. We need not have worried as the morning dawned bright and clear and remained that way all day.

We were picked up from the hotel just a couple of minutes after the promised time and were soon at the harbor. A short walk took us to the “Finding Nemo” boat. She is not as huge as some of the day trip boats; however she is licensed and insured to carry 10 so is by no means small. More importantly she is well run and her passengers are treated like Royalty. The personal touch is very important to Linda and Ibo and is something that can be missing on a bigger, more overcrowded boat.

Once on board and settled comfortably on the padded seating we were offered tea and coffee. Ibo and Linda (Captain and Mrs. Nemo) then got out a chart and helped us decide on an itinerary for the day. We had said that we were more interested in sightseeing and swimming than fishing, Finding Nemo is an angling boat after all.

As soon as we had decided where we wanted to go… we were off..”
