Bozcaada that has all the hallmarks of a classic Aegean island is a most special vacation place with its splendid sea, fresh air, historical structure, vineyards and wine.
Thousands of years ago Famous Greek historian Herodot is recorded to say “God created Bozcaada for those who visited there, to have a long life”. The island has indeed a very fresh air that makes one feel younger and full of energy.
As the ferry approaches the island you realize what a pretty island you are about to step on to, with its beautiful fort risinf in front of you. When you leave the ferry you walk right into the shopping area with its harborside restaurants where you can have nice seafood-stuffed vine leaves, octopus kebabs, squid under oil, tarama and olives..

The Fortress: Although there is not enough evidence to say who built the castle the castle is known to have been used by Byzantines, Venetians and Genoans. It has kept its physical condition remarkably well throughout all this time. Visitors can go in and see for a very minor fee.
Streets: Bozcaada is famous for its old cobbled streets and districts reflecting their traditional architecture, in the center of the town
Beaches: Among beaches located in the southern part of the island, AYAZMA beach is certainly known to be number one for visitors. Its beautiful, crystal like and stil water attracts you so badly on those hot summer days.
